Have you ever
wanted to impress your friends,
or even complete strangers, with
coin magic tricks?
If you get a coin
trick down right, you will not only impress a lot of people, but you
will become the most popular person around. Everyone will want to learn
how you did it.
There are several coin magic tricks that are
fairly well-known, or can be figured out easily. Advanced coin tricks
aren’t that difficult to learn, and they will be harder for
others to figure out.
All you need is some practice and some good
instructions. If you think about it, all the well-known magicians
around had to start somewhere. And they probably practiced a lot.
For you to be comfortable with coin tricks,
you will need to practice the sleight of hand. Most card and coin
tricks are based on this.
You can improve your sleight of hand by
practicing your timing and the spiels that you use to draw in your
audience. As you continue to practice, you will start to feel that
talking while doing your trick in a rhythmical fashion is second
nature.
Here is one great coin trick to start you on
your journey:
You will need two coins, one in each hand.
The coin in the first hand needs to be near the center of your palm.
The coin in the second hand needs to also be in your palm, but closer
to the thumb.
When you turn your hands over and slap them
on the table,
the coin closer to the thumb will scoot under your other hand. At this
point, you should have both coins under one hand. You can then ask your
audience where the coins are.
The common response you will get is that
there is a coin under each hand. When you lift your hands off the table
and show that they are below one hand, you will have many surprised
people.
This is just one of many simple coin magic
tricks. Learning how to perform coin magic tricks and trying them out
on an audience can be really fun.
