What are
some of the reasons you want to
learn
how to do magic tricks? You probably would
like to be the
highlight of a party, or just want to figure out how to create
illusions. Maybe you just want to simply entertain your family members
of friends.
To get started on learning how to do magic
tricks, you need to know that there are various types to choose from.
What kind should you pick? Here are a couple of my favorites to help
you start out:
Close-Up Magic
Close-up magic is really fun and
entertaining because it has requires you to perform tricks in close
proximity to your audience. This type of magic is usually performed for
small groups of people in more intimate settings, like your home,
office, or bar.
It is important to be realistic and
understand that you won’t be able to perform tricks like
Criss Angel when you are first learning how to do magic tricks.
However, you can find other types of tricks that are great for close-up
magic.
For example, some of the best tricks in
intimate settings are
card and coin tricks. These are normally great tricks to choose from
because they are typically flexible and don’t require a lot
of props.
If you are trying to entertain at someone
else’s
home, using their deck of cards or coins makes the trick even more
magical.
Illusions
Some of the most entertaining magic tricks
include illusion. These types of tricks can be some of the most
difficult to learn and perfect. If you are just learning how to do
magic tricks, you will probably want to start off with some easier
magic tricks first.
When illusion tricks are done correctly, you
will have an amazed and stunted audience. It is a great feeling when
you leave the stage with an audience not believing what they just
witnessed.
For more experienced magicians, it is easier
for them to make illusion tricks look wonderful on stage. As a
beginner, it will take some time before the illusion trick you are
trying to perform will look real.
A great place to start would be to work on
easier magic illusions such as interlocking rings. After perfecting a
few easier magical illusions you can move on to learning how to do
magic tricks that are a little more difficult.
