When you
decide to
learn magic
tricks, you
will realize how much fun you can have. There have been people known to
start a career after starting with simple card and coin tricks. If you
plan on becoming a good magician, you will need to work hard and
practice a lot.
It is important to realize that you will not
become a great magician overnight. When you learn magic tricks and
learn how to perform them in front of a crowd, you need to realize that
a lot of time is required.
It is best to take magic education one step
at a time. I suggest that you focus on learning a few tricks really
well before trying out more complicated ones.
Some easy tricks you may want to start out
with could include card tricks, coin tricks, self-folding note trick,
and crushed and restored Coke can.
When you learn magic tricks that are
a little easier and you master them, then you will probably feel more
comfortable learning more complex tricks such as the pen in arm
illusion, neck sawing illusion, levitation, and arm twist illusion.
Just like everything else in life, when you
learn magic tricks, you won’t become an expert without a lot
of practice.
When you learn a lot of simple tricks and
can perform them
so comfortably like they are second nature, you will create a
foundation for yourself for more difficult tricks. You will also learn
some really important basics from the easier tricks.
As you learn magic tricks, try practicing
them in front of a mirror. You could also record your performance with
a video camera.
This will help you evaluate your performance
to see
where you need to improve. You should fix your act and then record
again to see how the changes affected your performance.
Before you try your act out in public, make
sure that you are comfortable and confident with your magic tricks. You
don’t want to reveal your trick right in front of your
audience. Above anything else, make sure to have a good time as you
learn magic tricks.
